Best sushi in all of Baton Rouge! One of my absolute favorite spots
Im so mad I can’t remember our waitresses name but wanted to brag on her. She was the perfect amount of friendly without being too chatty. She kept our drinks refilled. And when our 5 month old got fussy while we were waiting for our food, we asked to go ahead and get the ticket. When she realized we needed to leave she was 5 steps ahead of us and had the ticket, to go boxes, and a bag ready. Even tho baby stole the show, our waitress made it a pleasant/less stressful experience for us.
The best sushi in the greater Baton Rouge area. Get the sumo roll and you won't be sorry.I highly recommend this Prairieville spot for lunch or dinner. The staff usually recognizes us because we love this place and eat there way too often! Never bad rolls or fish!5 star food, 5 star service.
Best $10 spent for lunch in a long time!!
Very good sushi selection and a clean restaurant
OMG....if you like sushi you should try this place. It is delicious. I started with a cucumber and crab salad and then to the sushi. I will definitely be coming back here.
Food and service was great!
Visited yesterday and food and service was great. My wife and I sat at the bar and had dinner. We order shrimp tempura roll and kickin' chicken. Visited several time and we will definitely be back
A very creative menu. Great options no matter your taste. Good selection of appetizers. The Geisha Roll is terrific! Very knowledgeable staff. Cocktails are tasty. Parking is difficult.
Always the best sushi in town with the best service!
EXCELLENT Japanese restaurant, Great sushi and also great Japanese food. Friendly and very attentive servers. My go to Japanese restaurant in Prairieville.
This was our first visit and certainly won't be our last either. Geisha has an amazing menu with top notch sushi and an incredibly friendly staff. The restaurant is very clean with a thoroughly modern design and a nice homey atmosphere. You absolutely won't be disappointed with the experience!
Me and my family enjoyed the food a lot!
Geisha is, by far, our favorite sushi restaurant. Sometimes the rolls are not as tightly rolled as they could be but the flavors are always top notch! As if good sushi went enough, the pan seared gyoza, crab sticks and fresh wasabi are must-haves every time we visit!
Very fresh and great tasting rolls and nigiri. Go to spot in Gonzales area.
Edited: Stopped by for dinner before driving back down to New Orleans. Crunchy crab stick salad is a must try...ask before you order to be sure they can make it. Sushi rolls and nigiri were on point. Service was great!
We came here for dinner while visiting friends in the area. Service was great and fast and food was delicious. The table ordered Marilyn Monroll and a Naruto roll and I tried the veggie roll which was fantastic. We enjoyed the soups, awesome house salad (love the pineapple in it) and a great hot sake. Everything was great! We didn't order any sushi or sashimi to try so we can't comment on that.
WOW I'd give it 10 if possible, McKenzie was a fantastic server of "primetime" susimi and all of it was top grade.....don't hesitate to come here.....🥢🍶🍵🍸
Outstanding food and the staff was very polite and nice. They missed us initially so we seated our self and had to wait more after that. We were about to leave but very glad we didn't. All things considered we probably just caught them at an off moment initially. All that said I'd do it again and look forward to going back.
My new favorite place for sushi! I loved the Marilyn Monroll I will be back! Great service but best sushi I’ve EVER had! Can’t wait to come back
Always fresh and friendly staff. Great food.
I came solo on a Friday night... No wait to sit at the sushi bar. Nice vibes! Very friendly & attentive server. Amazing food and drinks. I ordered the crunchy roll, Rock & Roll, miso soup, and a raspberry pomegranate cosmo! Yummy! I will definitely be back.
I LOVE this place, I go mostly for special occasions (causenim constantly broke). It is on the pricier side, but definitely worth it! My all time favorite order, is their Aloha roll. It's what I live for! The service is great, and the workers are always super nice!
Sushi rolls are nicely sized at eight pieces, which may be a bad thing read on... The flavors were ok, sometimes confusing. Eel sauce tasted like no other I have ever had. Very very sweet, too sweet. Tempura Shrimp Roll left a lot to be desired, flavors were mostly bland. I gave 3 Stars because the prices are so cheap. California Roll is $4 on the standard menu. It’s very odd. It’s almost impossible to find a sushi roll this cheap, even on a happy hour menu. Bottom line... high quality food is not cheap. The prices make me think that the ingredients are not fresh. Since the flavors and quality were underwhelming, this restaurant is more flair than fresh!
Great food and service. They have other options for those that aren't fond of sushi which I'm not. But my wife is so it worked out great for both of us.
This is currently one of my favorite sushi places! Food is always prepared fresh and hits your table pretty quick. Prices are very reasonable. Services is quick and friendly. Lunch menu has great specials. I love the pork pan friend dumplings! Highly highly recommend if you are craving or looking for good sushi!
The sushi is great and not too pricey. Definitely try the Mt. Fuji rool its crazy!
Great food. The staff tried to make us wait 30.minutes for a table although the bar was available and there were tables open.
Had the Death Valley Roll (pretty good), their clear soup (which was oddly sweet, but tasty), and the sashimi dinner (which was high quality).
Foos was very good. Bar service is no so good.
Got my order wrong and spent the entire conversation trying to blame literally anyone or anything else for the mistake. I was handed off to the manager at some point and was told "I'm not sure why I'm getting the brunt of the attitude here..."Offered to remake my order, not refund it, and then acted like it was a huge inconvenience so I told them to forget it.The sushi is subpar even when they do get it right... I won't be back.
I have been there twice and ordered sushi rolls. Last night I decided to give the Geisha roll a try. Amazing!! Highly recommend it - it comes out with 2 cucumbers on fire which adds a fun element. Our server was in a hurry and made us feel rushed, only downside. But I will definitely come back next time I'm in town.
Very good sushi and Asian cuisine. Good service...the waitress was friendly, prompt, and attentive. 4 thumbs up. 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Great food but the lunch rush really slows them down took us 35 minutes to get our food but it wasnt a huge problem for us. They have a wonderful atmosphere very modern and chic. It was really relaxing and a nice place to hang out and eat.
Went to take my girlfriend out for a nice dinner and immediately treated with disrespect only 15 seconds after walking in the door. I asked for a manager and he did nothing to resolve anything. I asked for a booth when I walked in and was immediately walked to a table, and when I asked for a booth again I was told they needed to be cleaned and that was a lie. I immediately walked to a clean booth and nobody else was waiting for a table. Treat your customers right and they will return but if you keep lying to customers and making them feel like they can’t trust your word and your business will crumble.
Absolutely love this place. Love their Bloody Mary's to the jalapeno poppers to all of the wonderful sushi options. Their hosts could definitely use more clothing considering i seen most of her buttcheeks once seated bc she was in such a short dress. But everything else was perfect.
Great sushi! They also serve other dishes that are delicious for those that are not sushi fans.
Best sushi around hands down everytime.
Best sushi around
Something has changed! The food used to have flavor and used to be worth it! The last 2 times we went, the food is BLAND AND TASTELESS! I have had to get extra sauce to pour on rice and chicken to give it any flavor! You obviously have changed cooks and need to get someone that can make fried rice with flavor and cook any of your dishes!!! The Sushi is okay, but the dinners are awful! This is not just my opinion, but everyone in my family. We used to like the food, but the last 2 times we have eaten there the food was not edible. We will no longer be going here as we are told they have better places in the Prairieville area to eat Hibachi and Sushi!
The food was phenomenal! Our waitress Chelsey was awesome. Everything she recommended we tried and were not disappointed. Will definitely return.
Wait staff, plating, drinks, sushi.... All phenomenal. Bringing the family next time to try this for sure.
Literally turn me away at 1:57 said we don't open again till 4, my money must not be good enough since only 2 people was inside.
Absolutely the best Sushi. Love the sunset roll!!!
This place is clean, priced right, and by far the best sushi in the area. Yes, better then Tsunami by far. Geisha is the only place I would go to and recommended
So after my bad experience at Blue Corn- being there for almost 30mins and not having my order taken. I came to Geisha. I know the food would be hot and fresh and excellent service. Hannah was my waitress, she was very courteous. She changed my fried rice to steam rice since I don't like eggs in my rice. My family and have eaten here several times and have never been disappointed.
Always delicious, excellent service. We had the Hibachi Shrimp, Death Valley Roll, Snowcrab salad, and Pork Gyoza.
Favorite sushi spot. Try The Who Dat nachos, you won’t be sorry!
Always great food and service.
Super tasty! Great lunch specials and awesome portions!
